What a blessing it is to be part of the St. Susanna family! I’m Natalie Brenneman and thrilled to teach half day Pre-K. I taught Kindergarten for six years in Wayne Township, but knew I could not keep teaching full time after my son, Evan, was born. Shortly after his birth, he was diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome, a rare, highly complex disorder that encompasses a wide range of medical and developmental issues. Most notably, those with PWS never feel full, struggling with constant, insatiable hunger. Because of Evan’s frequent appointments and therapies, our family had to make adjustments. I did not want to give up teaching, so I started looking for part-time opportunities, and here I am!
I grew up on the south side of Indy and graduated from Ball State in 2010. I married my high school sweetheart and moved to Plainfield after we fell in love with the trail system. I love creating digital classroom materials and feature some of them in my online teacher store, Squirmy Scholars.
