This is my second year at St Susanna and I am excited about the promise of a new school year. Last year was big for my whole family because we just moved here from Colorado, my home state for over 30 years. Most of those Colorado years were lived in Grand Junction (Jr. High, High School and college) and the last 12 years have been as a resident of the Denver area. My wife, Kim, and I are approaching eleven years of marriage. I am the proud father of two children. Samson is six years old and his younger sister, Dresden, just turned four. Both children are students at St. Susanna. Samson will start first grade and Dresden will be in the Pre-Kindergarten class.
I graduated from Colorado Mesa University with a Bachelors of Science in Physics and a minor in Mathematics. In 2008, I went back to college and completed the requirements to become a K-6 licensed teacher with an added endorsement to teach grades 7-12. My work experience consist of three years as a teacher in a third grade classroom for Denver Public Schools where over 90% of the students are second language learners. For the last few years, I have served as a Middle School educator at a similar sized private school teaching all of the Mathematics and Science courses for grades 6-8.
