I’m Fr. Glenn O’Connor, Pastor here at St. Susanna since 2012. Prior to that, I was at St. Joseph, St. Ann, St. Philip Neri, and St. Simon parishes in Indianapolis, as well as St. Gabriel parish in Connersville. After attending St. Meinrad Seminary, I was ordained in 1980 – and have enjoyed every single one of my 36 years in ministry. Along with my parish responsibilities, I also serve as the Catholic Chaplain for the Indianapolis International Airport; Catholic Chaplain for IndyCar Ministry; and one of the Spiritual Directors for Cursillo. But I have to admit…as privileged as I’ve felt in all my areas of service…I just LOVE being around all our St. Susanna students! Seeing the little “quacamole’s” each day not only brings a smile to my face, but also brings to heart the AWESOME privilege and responsibility we have here at St. Susanna. I realize the sacrifice that Catholic education can be, but I hope you know that each and every one of us here at St. Susanna School are faithfully devoted to your children – not only educating them, but also helping them along in their journeys of faith. I applaud you for bearing the sacrifice in order to allow your children to grow up in an atmosphere of faith! The little “quacamole’s” have no idea how lucky they are, but God knows that you have their best interests at heart. Well done, good and faithful servants! Thank you for the special privilege to be here at St. Susanna. It is truly a blessing!
