My name is Julie Denton. I am a parishioner at Saint Susanna and this is my fourteenth year teaching at Saint Susanna. I grew up on the North West side of town. I am a cradle Catholic and attended St. Luke for all eight years and graduated from Chatard High School. My family and I moved here fifteen years ago to be near my sister and her family. My husband Eric and I have two wonderful children, Kenzie is 21 and a senior at IU and Jacob is 18 and a freshman at Ball State. We also have a chocolate lab named Lucy.
I graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. My license includes grades K-6. I taught second grade at Saint Susanna for ten years. I am looking forward to my fourth year in Kindergarten. I was awarded “Teacher of the Year” at St. Susanna School.
