Dear Parents,

I’m so excited to welcome everyone back in less than 2 weeks!  Teachers and staff are busy getting the building organized after our big moves.  We’re all anxious for everyone to feel the difference in the school!  Some important reminders are included below.

Summer Skills Packets:  Each grade level has activities for students to complete and turn in to teachers on the first day of school. There are even preschool activities! The summer reading assignments are REQUIRED for older grades. They are posted on our school website under the “downloads” tab at the top right or HERE.

School Supply Lists: Are also located on the school website under “downloads”.  These are the items your child should have on the first day of school. Just scroll down to 2017-18 School Supply Lists or click HERE.

Uniform and Spirit Wear Sale: THIS WEEKEND Saturday, July 29 from 12:00 noon – 4:00pm in Zore Hall (gym).  Come try on uniform items, order school logo polo shirts and plaid jumpers, find gently used uniform items!  Avon Sports Apparel will also be present with the new Spirit Wear items, along with some student favorites.  Class lists will be posted at this time!  Uniform is expected for grades K-8th; all grades including preschool may wear Spirit Wear items on Fridays.  Uniform policy is found HERE.

Anyone interested in selling old uniforms should affix , with a safety pin, on each item the following information: size, price, and family name. You may also drop off items you wish to donate to the Used uniform sale. These items will be sold during the sale and the money will benefit the St. Susanna Teachers. We will only accept items that meet the school dress code policy. All Payments for the USED uniforms must be CASH ONLY.

Items for the Used uniform sale may dropped off any time between 4:00- 8:00pm on Friday, July 28th. Unsold items need to be picked up along with monies made by 5:00pm on Saturday, July 29th.  If you need to schedule a different time to drop off items, please contact Lisa Arickx at

Join us for our first annual “Eat N Greet” on Saturday, August 5.  Kick off the school year by welcoming our new families and reconnecting with old friends!  Begin with mass at 5:30pm, hosted by students.  After mass, find your new homeroom and check out the new school arrangement!  Bring a side dish to share and join us for a pitch-in dinner as Mr. Vachon, our new Middle School Math and Science teacher, and Mr. Dutcher, our band and music teacher, grill hot dogs for everyone!  It’s a wonderful way to welcome everyone back to an exciting school year! A “new” free or reduced lunch application must be filled out, signed and turned in no later than August 25, 2017, in order for your student(s) to be eligible for free or reduced lunch for the 2017-2018 school year.   If you were approved for free or reduced lunch for 2016-2017, you must fill out a new application to be eligible for the 2017-2018 school year. Before care begins at 7:00am.  Drop off begins at 8:00am.  Tardy bell rings at 8:15.
