Welcome back!

I hope everyone had a fun and relaxing fall break!  God blessed us with BEAUTIFUL weather!  I was so glad to see all the smiling faces of your children, who were excited to tell all about their adventures over break.  (First graders couldn’t wait to show me all the teeth they lost!)

Don’t forget to sign up for conference this Thursday and Friday (below) …. 1:00pm dismissal both days!  As we start a new nine weeks, we encourage students to Begin with the End in Mind. What goals do they have for second quarter?  Kids say they want to “do better in school”; the challenging part is HOW they will make that happen.  Study for spelling tests?  Need to focus on getting homework turned in? Complete all work on time? If we begin the quarter with our end in mind, we set ourselves up for success.

Men’s Club: We are looking for dads or grandfathers who are interested in joining St. Susanna’s Men’s Club.  This group helps with some fundraising and handy-man help around the parish.  Major events include the 2 Lenten fish fries, golf outing, and special cookout lunch for field day.  For fun and fellowship, please contact Joe miller

Picture Makeup Day is Monday, November 6th at 8:30 a.m.  New students and those who were absent on the first picture day will be photographed for the yearbook at that time.

For students who were already photographed and want retakes, a parent must call DMH Photographics (prior to makeup day) to discuss the reason for retakes and add your name to the list – 317.838.0921.  Please see their website – for their complete retake policy.
