We have a LOT going on the next 2 weeks! Don’t miss a thing; make sure you read Principal Notes for all the important information you need!
Christmas arrived early for St. Susanna students and staff! A group of Santa’s Elves (AKA – St. Susanna Spartans Cooking Club) took over the lunchroom, kitchen and supervision duties this past Friday. You may have heard from your child that lunch was SO FUN, complete with music, ice cream, and games in the gym! (Pictures are posted on the St. Susanna Facebook Page!) The Club (made up of some St. Susanna dads) also cooked and served lunch to the staff – an AWESOME menu of pulled pork, baked beans, salad, veggies, and dessert. Teachers got a rare opportunity to enjoy an extended lunch and relax with teachers from other grade levels. A HUGE THANK YOU to JR Means for organizing this wonderful day! Thanks to the dads who made this event a crowd favorite: Mike Bedel, Dirk Andres, Craig Overton, PJ Orlando, Mike Daum, Frank Taheny, Al Chlupacek, Aaron Davis, David Smrekar, and Jason McClellan. Thank you for letting YOUR lights shine!
Our Preschoolers and Pre-Kindergarteners entertained a packed house on Thursday evening with a selection of Christmas carols mixed with some favorite songs. Our smallest St. Susanna kiddos did a great job singing their songs and shaking their jingle bells! Family and friends helped make Christmas cards and enjoyed cookies afterward. Ms. Houser, Mrs. Hosek, and Mrs. Hardwick did a great job preparing our students for their big program. It was a fun night for everyone!

Student News: Do you have any good news to share? Anything our students or graduates have accomplished? I would love to report on what our students do outside of school and how they are developing the talents God gave them. I plan to include a St. Susanna alumni section in some issues of Principal Notes… sort of a “where are they now?” to let our families know what our young people do once they leave St. Susanna. Please let me know how students and graduates are letting their lights shine!
