Hi! I’m Erin Huther. I was born and raised in Jasper, Indiana. After high school, I attended Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, Kentucky, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an emphasis in math. I was also able to fulfill my dream of being a collegiate athlete by playing volleyball at KWC. Go Panthers! My first teaching job was at Notre Dame Academy in Louisville, Kentucky. I taught fourth, fifth and sixth grade math with a fourth grade homeroom for three years. I started teaching at St. Susanna in the Fall of 2012. I relocated to Plainfield to be closer to my then fiancé, whom I married in the winter of 2012. My husband and I are proud parents of a busy seven-year-old and an almost four-year old! I enjoy spending my summer being outside, reading, being with family and friends, and preparing for the school year. I can’t believe this will be my eleventh year at St. Susanna. I have spent five of those years teaching 5th Grade, and four years teaching 3rd grade. I am very excited for my 2nd year in 2nd grade! I feel very blessed to be a teacher at St. Susanna, and I am looking forward to a great year!
